Occupational Therapist
I do not believe in sensory diets. Hearing the word "sensory" makes me cringe anymore as so many behaviors are being dumped under "sensory" category in the schools. A lot of education and a LOT of research needs to be done in this area.
The larger picture of why so many kids are being affected with neurological damage/insult (Autism, ADHD, etc) REALLY needs to be addressed (toxins in our environment and food).

I really appreciated reading that sensory processing deficits can be inconsistent; meaning, present one day and not the next. That is absolutely my experience
