Shudders-Sensory Overload

Can something that looks like a possible seizure (upper body shaking) be associated with Sensory Processing Disorder?

According to a EEG... they are not seizures, and the Doctor referred to them as Shudders... Said it was like a sensory overload.

Our 6yo boy (who was diagnosed almost 4 years ago) just started demonstrating this behavior. Described exactly as a way to work out over-stimulation.

We'll ask his OT about "contracting" tomorrow.
Appreciate this site very much. Helpful to share experiences.
