Soft blanket for my cousin?

I have a cousin with Fragile X Syndrome. Is he likely to have a sensory disorder, and if he does, would a soft blanket be good for him? If you need more details, do ask :)

I’m 16 now and and I’m not quite sure how long this has been going on for, but I just hate the feeling, sound, look or anything to do with metal. When
