This Explains it all!

From birth, I have went through and experienced many if not all of these at one time or another in my life. I can't stand tags, or certain fabrics or heights. The list is endless. When I was growing up, this didn't exist. I was told to just deal with it. So when something new was bought, I had no choice. I grew up in the late 80's - 90's. When I had my children and my oldest child continually walks on his toes, I began to search and found this site. I went over the checklist with his doctor and she said that he doesn't seem too bothered by most of the things on here. Then she asked me and I started answering yes to most.

I also want to say to the mothers out there who think your child is being hard to get along with by not wanting contact with certain materials, maybe not so. and if they don't like tags in clothing cut them out. It can totally feel like a razor blade in the back of the neck. I know first hand!. I am 28 years old and still can't wear tags or shoulder pads or satin, or bumpy sheets, or crushed velvet, or touch styrofoam. Please just listen to your children.
