Uniform and Sensory Issues

My daughters have sensory processing disorder and their head is changing the uniform this September. He will only consider long sleeved shirts and is being extremely militant on other issues and the cuffs and certain textures on the uniform are causing real distress.
I have been told he has to make reasonable adjustments for their sensory issues, but how far does the law go on this?

So I'm Shannon,14,I'm going to 9th grade in August (2 months). Living with SPD has gotta be one of the most frustrating aspects of my life. It's really
