What do I do??

I have a 3 year old sensory child who is so wild I can't seem to calm her down sometimes. She can get so mean that she will through things, and bite people. Most of the time she is as sweet as you could imagine but things like taking a bath, washing her hair, making her sick down for dinner, and going places. we are unable to go places at times because of her behaviors, the more activity the more wild she gets. She has to sleep with me because she has to have me or she screams. She never relaxes she is always on the move.. any ideas??

Same problem

I have the same problem with my 6 year old. This just recently started as well. I also don't know what to do with it, because no matter what I try, she will not calm down. She gets violent with hitting herself, banging her head, and biting things. We just recently saw a Developmental Pediatrician, which unfortunately, did not have any good input, but to send us to a behavior psychologist. We are awaiting our appointment at the end of the month. We also started a medication for Atention Deficit Disorder, which has seemed to help with her running all over the place and going from one thing to another in seconds. SHe also has started sleeping in my bed, and wants to cuddle. She won't let my husband lay down with her at night, only me. We have stopped fighting that battle, because its the only thing that lets us all sleep at night. Wish I could be more help, but totally understand what you are goign through!
