Young Adults Driving

I have an 18 year old son who is not ready to get his drivers license. He took drivers ed in high school and passed but never wanted to get his drivers permit after. He shows no emotion about driving other then he doesn't want to. When he was younger he was diagnosed with Sensory Integration and was in OT for most of his childhood before the public school system took it over. I was told this was something he would outgrow. But with us having this driving situation I am beginning to wonder if this is something he still struggles with. Can anyone help me and my son?
