Always jumping...

by Vasso st
(Greece)

My friends little boy (about 6 years old) when he returns home, the first thing he does is ..jumping! He does it sometimes at school but most at home. My friends are worrying what will be the reaction of the other children in the classroom ( maybe make fun at him) and they do not know what to do or say to him to stop it or to transfer it (the jumping) to something else (they tried to tell him to squeeze a soft ball but it did not work)

P.S Sorry for my bad English

Jumping is ok
by: Anonymous

Yep, I would suggest the parents tell him no jumping at school but jumping at home is okay if it's in a safe place (maybe a trampoline or some soft floor mats). I don't think he has SPD, sounds like he's just an excited, happy little boy. Nothing wrong with that and it's totally normal!

Let him do it
by: Steve Faherty

He needs it. Get him a trampoline at home. He just needs to be told no at school & yes at home.
