Associate Psychologist

by ARE
(Texas)

I am currently working with an adult with tactile problem who would not allow dental or medical procedures. He would not allow touches more than 30 seconds and under sedation would display fight/flight behavior.

Any suggestions

dental NEW
by: Anonymous

I was a licensed dental assistant for many years, also the mom of a SPD 5 yr old... My suggestions is to find a dentist willing to work this them. Sometimes they need to make accommodations for the patients. If dental work needs to be done in 30 second increments with a rest in between, so be it!

Was the sedation N2O or was the person put in twilight?
