He ate the cup

Today, at a community event, my husband gave my little boy a nice styrofoam cup of lemonade. I watched him like a hawk as he sipped it, so that I would be nearby in the event of the inevitable spill. But he drank it neatly to my surprise. A few moments later, I looked down to see that he had also very efficiently eaten half the cup, at which point, I took it away and tossed it, wondering how many people had seen him do THAT!
