It's OK

Just give love and try to be patient. Don't "force" your issue if you can avoid it at all. Allow plenty of time to accomplish the goal - getting dressed or talking about something important, getting homework done. Get out of the way. Badgering the child makes the anxiety worse. If you can walk away both of you will likely feel less pressure and anxiety.
