Panic

by laura
(hopewell)

I am thirteen and sometimes i get these enormous waves of fear and terror and will panic. I think it is a panic attack but i could just be freakin out

Does anyone have any experience, advice, or knowledge of this?

If so is there anything that can help me calm down

It's okay NEW

I know it probably does sound scary to think about telling your parents you may have a problem, but you have to tell them, or at least someone you trust. Going online to find support and answers is fine but you should have a good hug and a good pair of ears waiting for you while you feel that way... there are plenty of things out there (not just medication) that can help you through this... you just need help to get there. Take a deep breath and out with it... you'll feel better that you told someone which will actually probably take away some of the anxiety.

good luck.

Honey you really need to talk to your parents about this. I know that may seem scary, but they can help you get help. Try to take deep breaths and remind yourself that you are ok. My son who is only 6 seems to get nervous easily. But really try to talk to your parents or someone you trust about this! Best of luck!
