I have been searching the web for some info on this phenomenon and your comment was the only thing I found. My husband also does this and I was trying to find out if it is related to Asperger's syndrome. I think he has Aspergers, but has not yet been diagnosed. Do you have any diagnosed issues? It's a very strange phenomenon, but haven't found any info. about it, have you?
