Just wondering

by wendy
(Missouri)

Would it be normal for someone with ADHD to have sensory problems as well? For example, I cannot use certain lotions or rubs because they feel too cold or too strange, but other people don;t get that explanation. Is the tendency to withdraw and shut down if being confronted part of this sensory spectrum as well? Being diagnosed ADHD at a much older age than most people (mid twenties), how likely is it that anyone would consider looking for sensory difficulties now?
