Loud noises and music

My 9 year old son is extremely sensitive to loud music and loud voices and noises. It impacts him socially. He is red headed also if that makes any difference. He is super athletic and fun and has lots of friends but runs away from loud environments. Would you consider this a sensory processing disorder?
