SPD And Temper Tantrums
Our son is 5 yrs old. He has been diagnosed with SPD by his pediatrician who recommended OT. We have had one OT evaluation and are on the waiting list for regular visits.
It has been months. He will start kindergarten this fall and it is very scary for us.
Lately at preschool he's been having more bad days than good. He's starting to have meltdowns and may hurt other kids.
Can anyone give us suggestions of what to do until we can start therapy. He is an only child and for the most part is fine at home and weekends. He is sensitive to noise so we watch and help with that but need suggestions for school.
